Our year-round organizing efforts are crucial to our mission, and we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Organizing Director to lead and enhance our organizing initiatives in Pima, Yuma, and Cochise Counties.
As the Southern Regional Organizing Director, you will play a key role in advancing our mission through strategic and impactful year-round organizing efforts.
You will lead a team of passionate organizers, collaborate with community partners, and drive engagement to achieve our advocacy goals.
This position requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in organizing, community building, and campaign management.
Responsibilities Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement comprehensive regional organizing strategies that align with the organization's mission and goals.
Provide strategic direction to the organizing team, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of organizers, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and collective goals.
Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that values diversity and collaboration.
Campaign Development:
Design and execute effective year-round organizing campaigns, mobilizing communities and advocating for positive change.
Collaborate with other departments to integrate organizing efforts with broader organizational initiatives.
Community Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, partner organizations, and key stakeholders.
Organize and facilitate community events, forums, and actions to amplify our advocacy efforts.
Training and Development:
Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for organizing staff to enhance their skills and capacities.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the regional organizing team.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
